  • Whether you know exactly what you want to discuss or are uncertain about how to begin, that is perfectly alright. Feel free to send an email, and together with Jane, you can explore where to start.


  • Anything we discuss stays in the session. However, there are a few exceptions to this.

    Yes, everything we discuss is protected by professional secrecy and confidentiality. The only time in which I am obliged by law to break confidentiality or professional secrecy is if you are:

    1) At risk of hurting yourself or harming others or if you have a plan to hurt yourself or other people
    2) If a child (0-18yrs) is in danger or is being abused as defined by the Youth Protection Act of Quebec, under Article 38.
    3) If I am made aware that an elderly person is in danger, or being abused

  • I do not offer psychotherapy, as it is a practice designated for professionals who are registered with the Order of Psychologists of Quebec (OPQ). However, I do provide one-on-one counseling, which falls within my expertise as a mental health counselor. If you have any questions about the services I offer or the differences between counseling and psychotherapy, feel free to ask!

  • Within the first few sessions Jane and you will get to know each other. Going forward you and Jane will work together to establish goals and a treatment plan. Jane will draw on her knowledge and skill to empower you to make the changes that you are looking for.

  • Yes, receipts are given for you to submit to your insurance company. Please verify that your insurance company covers naturopathy
